ABOUT

Akis Kalmoukis, a tenor born in Tripoli, is a graduate of the Ionian University with a master’s degree in Opera. Known for his captivating performances, he has portrayed iconic roles like Rodolfo (La Bohème) in London and the Duca di Mantova (Rigoletto). His career highlights include singing at the Olympic Flame Ceremony, performing at the Wings to Cure Gala in Chicago (2023 & 2024), and giving recitals in Venice, Rome, and other renowned locations.

 

Akis collaborates with the "Symphony Orchestra Mikis Theodorakis," touring internationally and delivering unforgettable performances across Europe. In addition to being a laureate of the UNESCO national music competition, he has also represented Greece on global stages, singing the National Anthem at prestigious events.

 

Specializing in lyrical repertoire, Akis brings to life roles such as Rodolfo, Duca di Mantova, Alfredo, Edgardo, Nemorino and many more blending tradition and innovation with his unique artistry. Whether on stage or in recital, his voice leaves a lasting impact on audiences worldwide.
